RaceMap Data API Live Gaps Broadcast JSON/HTML Operator Control

Live GPS race gaps & broadcast outputs — in minutes

Timedresult TrackingController connects to RaceMap’s Data API, calculates time & distance gaps for Peloton and Chase groups, and publishes clean JSON/HTML outputs for broadcasters, overlays, and dashboards.

After logging in, you can download the Windows installer from the Setup page.

Transmit ON to publish
What it does
  • Reads RaceMap Data API live tracker positions
  • Operator-selectable Front / Peloton / Chase 1 / Chase 2 / Sag
  • Time + distance gaps with manual override tools
  • Optional publishing (Transmit) for broadcast consumers
  • Recovery mode for restarts mid-race
Built for race-day reality

Dropouts happen. Operators can freeze distance, go manual distance-to-go, reset smoothing, apply offsets, or temporarily disable publishing to correct the state.

RaceMap compatible

Create your event in RaceMap, enable Data_API, then use the Event ID from the Data API URL.

Operator controls

Adjustable poll interval, average speed smoothing, gap mode selection, breakaway flag, manual gaps, and manual distance-to-go when GPS drops out.

Broadcast outputs

Local data.json updates continuously, and can publish JSON/HTML dashboards when Transmit is enabled.

How it works

1
Connect to RaceMap
Create your event map in RaceMap, enable Data_API, then copy the Event ID from the Data API URL (after /v1/).
2
Operate the race
Select Front / Peloton / Chase groups, apply offsets and manual gaps, press Update to apply changes, then enable Transmit when you want downstream displays to receive data.
3
Publish outputs
Consumers poll your published JSON/HTML (or local files). Subscriptions and one-off credits behave the same, but subscriptions offer a better effective rate.
